Sata treats her like his puppy and requires benefit of the weakness of Erika.CharactersErika ShinoharaThe primary protagonist of the show. Nevertheless, Sata may appear to be a man that is sweet, however he's really an ultra-black. She does not have any alternative except to make him her boyfriend that is imitation. It seems that lad is a school-mate named Ky?ya Sata, although she says a good-looking lad in a candid picture is her boy friend. Liar x Liar is a good manga, but I'm afraid it's not for everyone. The storyline centres around Erika Shinohara, A - 16-year old woman who tells her pals tall tales about her exploits that are amorous, but she really does not have any boy friend. If you weren't bothered by Erika's lies, then I believe you can endure Minato's, which are more reasonable, in my point of view. In Liar x Liar, it's more frequent for the protagonists' lies to create a comical scenario, but Ookami Shoujo also has moments like that in the beginning. Even still, I could say they aren't really who they appear to be and that impacts their future love partners in some way.īoth are so extremely funny, each in their own way. The boys aren't really similar, except for being handsome, but you can find that in pretty much every shoujo manga. Although, Liar x Liar takes place in a university, so Minato, the protagonist of that series, is more mature than Erika, who stars in Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji. What these two have in common may be what actually repels people from reading them: female main characters are liars who don't really measure the consequences for their acts and are really naive. These are two of my favorite mangas ever. While Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji gives me more of a typical, shoujo vibe, if you enjoy one manga (or especially adore the characters) you will most definitely enjoy the other! Cute, interesting supportive leads, best friends, side characters Just enough drama/conflict where leads are able to overcome without making the relationship on and off Male leads both appear cold (although in Koukou Debut, Yoh is more cool/stoic/lovable and in OStKO, Kyouya is mean/rude type in general) Male leads don't express emotions easily but you can tell they are head over heels in love with female lead female leads are openly VERY expressive of their emotions Plot focuses more on their actual bf/gf relationship then draggy "does he like me/does she like me" plot In both mangas there is a seemingly cold yet loving male lead and an enthusiastic, bubbly, blunt, crybaby (but very lovable) female lead I remember after finishing it for the first time, I craved something similar and Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji filled that void for me. ![]() ![]() Koukou Debut is one of my favorite shoujos-I'm biased and I have a soft spot in my heart for it even though I read it many years ago (and reread it often). ![]() ![]() Due to this unpredictability, artificial insemination has been largely unsuccessful (only one successful insemination) up to this point. About 50 percent of clouded leopards studied have been known to exhibit spontaneous ovulation, but not after every estrus cycle, so they are considered intermittent spontaneous ovulators. ![]() Spontaneous ovulation is truly spontaneous and therefore can be unpredictable. It is almost impossible to determine if this is true for clouded leopards due to their ability to spontaneously ovulate as well. Most cat species are considered induced ovulators, meaning that the act of copulation induces the cat to ovulate. Like many cats, clouded leopards have various reproductive challenges. Cubs are independent after 1.5 to 2 years. At 5 weeks, cubs leave the nest, and they are weaned at 90 to 100 days. The gestation period is between 85 and 93 days with one to five cubs (usually two or three) produced per litter. Mating can occur in any month, but in human care, most breeding occurs between December and March. Often, the cats receive their diet either in training sessions or in enrichment in the yard ‐ it is not uncommon to see bags, boxes or bungees where food has been hidden/attached in the clouded leopards' yard.Ĭlouded leopards are sexually mature around 2 years old. ![]() Twice a week, the clouded leopards get bones in addition to their regular meal, from which they lick out the cartilage and then chew on the bone, which is good not only for enrichment but also for their teeth and gums. They also receive frozen-thawed rabbits twice a week, frozen-thawed rats twice a week, cooked chicken twice a week, and herring once a week. They receive this diet as the majority of their daily consumption twice a week. They are fed a zoo carnivore diet called Natural Balance, which is ground beef that has been specially formulated to provide the proper nutrients such as calcium and taurine, important for prevention of metabolic bone disease. Although a relatively small predator, a clouded leopard can take down sizeable prey because of its strong legs, large canines and extreme gape (ability to open mouth to about 100 degrees).Īt the Smithsonian's National Zoo, the clouded leopards are always fed separately to avoid aggression between individuals. Scientists once thought that clouded leopards mainly hunted from or in trees current thought, however, is that while some hunting may occur in the trees, the majority most likely takes place on the ground. Their chief prey are gibbons, macaques, slow loris, small deer and wild boars, which they ambush from the trees or stalk from the ground. Like all wild cats, clouded leopards are carnivores. Recent research has proposed the clouded leopard branched from other members of the Pantherinae family first-over 6 million years ago-making them the most ancient feline species in the modern cat world. They are a separate species of wild cat, as are snow leopards and leopards. Clouded leopards are not a "type" of leopard as their name implies. While all species of cats are classified as one family, the Felidae, genetic research has shown the clouded leopard to be most closely related to the large cat species. Black and pale, whitish individuals have been reported from Borneo indicating the species may exhibit dark and albino forms. The coat is brown or yellowish-gray and covered with irregular dark stripes, spots and blotches. It has proportionately short legs and a long tail. While more closely related to big cats, the clouded leopard is frequently described as bridging the gap between big and small cats due largely to its smaller stature. These canines are longer in proportion to skull size than those of any other species of wild cat. Another distinctive feature of the clouded leopard is its long canine teeth. Specialized anklebones allow varied position for climbing, including climbing headfirst down trees. Due to its forest habitat, clouded leopards have large, dexterous paws with specialized footpads for gripping branches. ![]() But as brilliantly woven together by Hayao Miyazaki (at the peak of his creative gifts), the movie is basically a story about growing up. Even more thoroughly, Spirited Away is a compendium of ancient folklores – the secret lives of radishes and other gods, the sins we commit against nature, her punishments. The plot is a stew of essential anxieties: dislocation, separation from one’s parents, fear of disappearing forever. It’s a movie that emboldens children to embrace weirdness and wonder, and adults to remember how they once did. A swirling adventure flecked with shame, rehabilitation, death and rebirth, the movie contains a universe of feelings. But those readings are like cracking open a snow globe to see that it’s only water. Cultural theorists have, for decades, discussed Pinocchio in psychosexual terms or as a guide to middle-class assimilation. The takeaway is hard to argue with: Don’t lie, to yourself or others. (Pinocchio’s extending schnoz is animation’s most sinister and profound metaphor.) It’s staggering to think of this material as intended for children, but that’s the power here, a conduit to the churning undercurrent of formulating identity. Disney’s second feature – originally a box-office bomb – begins with a sweetly singing cricket, yet plunges into scenes from a nightmare: in front of a jeering audience on a carnival stage into the belly of a monstrous whale beyond all human recognition. Its influence on fantasy is massive: Steven Spielberg quotes the soaring ballad ‘When You Wish Upon a Star’ in his dream project Close Encounters of the Third Kind (and remade the whole picture with his aching robot-boy adventure, A.I.). Some modern fans such as the EnviroVent Cyclone 7 feature a humidity sensor which automatically determines the correct power levels to use to remove moisture. Although extractor fans are often connected to the light circuit, this may not be ideal for you – particularly if the bathroom is well lit during the day, and you want to avoid unnecessary energy use. If the fan is to be installed in an en suite bathroom or close to bedrooms you might want to discuss an ultra-quiet fan to avoid disturbing people. What kind of extractor fan is right for a bathroomĪside from airflow needs, IP rating and placement (wall mounted, ceiling mounted, or window mounted) you should also consider factors such as the noise levels of the fan you are installing. Where the only option is to fit a fan into a window, you will need to have the fitting inspected by a professional glazier to ensure that it is safe and secure. Your installer will also consider how the fan will extract air – for example whether a hole will need to be cut in the wall, and if ducting is required. This type of placement helps to ensure that moisture laden air from the whole room is drawn out, rather than just air from a small area. In practice, this usually means that the fan should be placed high on the wall opposite the internal door to the bathroom. An experienced ventilation engineer will be able to provide you with options depending on the room where the fan will be installed to ensure that it is powerful enough to extract moisture without it escaping into other parts of your home and causing condensation. The power rating of the fan specified for a particular room is dependent on the size and shape of the room as well as the fan is to be located. This is stipulated as part of building regulations. When choosing your fan, it is important to consider the amount of airflow. While new build homes are designed to be more energy efficient and prevent heat loss, their airtight design means that you need increased mechanical ventilation to ensure proper levels of air flow out of key rooms. There are a number of things to think about when choosing and installing a bathroom extractor fan correctly: Does the fan provide enough air flow To ensure that you have the right extractor fan for your bathroom, it is a good idea to speak to a ventilation expert who can visit your home to provide advice about what is needed based on moisture levels and room sizes. If you are thinking of having an extractor fan fitted in your bathroom or kitchen it is important to choose the right one and to have it installed correctly. Having an extractor fan in a bathroom also prevents moist air escaping into the rest of your home where it can also lead to condensation problems.Įxtractor fans can also be useful for removing odours and freshening up the room, which can be important if your toilet is in the bathroom.
